New for the fresh-cut salad industry, Urschel introduces the next generation of sanitation, the TranSlicer® 2520 Cutter. The 2520 takes the design of the TranSlicer® 2510 Cutter to the next level. Every facet of the machine focuses on timesaving and therefore cost-saving sanitation practices. On average, customers incorporating the TranSlicer 2520 into their production line are saving 25 minutes per washdown/cleaning versus previously owned machines. Elements of the machine aid in visual inspections and assist with hygienic cleaning procedures. Building on the original TranSlicer that revolutionized the commercial fresh-cut salad industry, Urschel brings you the new TranSlicer 2520 Cutter. The TranSlicer 2520 offers interchangeable 25" diameter cutting wheels and processes a variety of products for the commercial food processing industry, such as leafy vegetables, celery, leek, carrots, cucumbers, and fruits.

   The E TranSlicer® Cutter delivers a similar operating principle as the larger 2520 and 2510 models, while featuring interchangeable 20" diameter cutting wheels. The belt-fed slicer is also available as a bias cutter to produce 35- or 45-degree bias flat or crinkle slices for batch processing in niche vegetable markets.

   The Urschel Model CC revolutionized the potato crisp/chip market when it was unveiled in 1959 and continues to be the go-to potato chip/crisp industrial food slicer years later, after a number of updates. The Model CC Series offers a variety of slices and shreds. Newly introduced MicroAdjustable® SL-14 and SH-14 slicing and shredding heads deliver nearly twice the capacity of standard, 8-station heads. Customers benefit from increased capacity by a simple head replacement, instead of purchasing additional machinery.

   Popular one-, two-, and three-dimensional Urschel commercial food cutting equipment includes the DiversaCut® series of industrial dicers: DiversaCut 2110A®, Sprint 2®, and DiversaCut Sprint® Dicers.    Rely on the Affinity® series of industrial dicers to process high-fat, cold-temperature and otherwise normally difficult-to-cut products, such as meats and cheese. The large Affinity Dicer is available in two versions: the Affinity with a built-in feed conveyor and the U.S.D.A., Dairy Division-accepted Affinity. A smaller version, the Affinity Integra® Dicer, features the same clean cutting action to effectively process normally difficult-to-cut products.

   The versatile Comitrol® Processor features single-pass milling capabilities to deliver precision particle-size reduction down to micro-dimensions to process dry, paste, or liquid applications. Standard operations include granulating, flaking, milling, slicing, shredding, dispersing, blending, homogenizing, emulsifying, pureeing, and liquefying.
