Major Products 

Komline-Sanderson’s Paddle Dryer Processor is a highly efficient, mechanically agitated, indirect heat-transfer device that adds or removes heat from a process mass using steam, circulated thermal fluid, or water. It is widely used for indirect drying, heating, cooling, and other thermal processing applications. Our vibrating fluid bed dryer adds gentle agitation to precisely controlled temperatures for products with specific temperature limitations as well as materials that require air flow for consistent moisture removal.

The K-S Rotary Drum (RDVF) and Horizontal Vacuum Filtration products are used for clarification, dewatering, and filter cake washing. K-S Vacuum Filters provide a continuous liquid/solid separation process that is easy to control. 

Thickening and dewatering of sludges are efficiently accomplished with the K-S Gravabelt Gravity Belt Thickener and the K-S Kompress Belt Filter Press as well as our new K-S Multi~Wave and Multi~Force Screw Presses. 

K-S Dissolved Air Flotation clarifiers are used for the removal of suspended solids to meet plant discharge requirements and recover material and water for reuse.

Technical Services 

Komline-Sanderson’s Technical Center in Peapack NJ provides for bench- and pilot-scale testing services for our line of vacuum filtration, indirect drying, and thermal processing of powders, granules, cakes, and pastes. 

We also offer testing for our environmental product lines used for clarification, thickening, dewatering, and drying of sludges and by-products. Tests range from feasibility checking using small amounts of material, thorough process evaluations, and process optimization. K-S’ expertise in developing chemical conditioning schemes and selecting filter media is a major component to many successful liquid/solid separation applications. For more-extensive testing we offer pilot rental equipment for field trials and production of material for product and market evaluation.

These laboratory tests are conducted to evaluate the suitability of equipment, characterize the material, and gather design data. Laboratory and pilot testing are valuable tools for evaluating filtration and drying or cooling characteristics, selecting filter media, and performance optimization.
